ProCredit Bank started its activity in Ukraine in February 2001 as a bank providing loans to representatives of micro, small and medium businesses. By the fall of 2003, the Bank was called "Microfinance Bank". The name change was due to the decision of its shareholders to unite under one name the network of banks founded by them, working in the field of small business lending.
