Alico is a Ukrainian company owned by the world leader in life insurance - American Life Insurance Company (ALICO). It has been operating on the Ukrainian market since July 16, 2002 on the basis of an official license.
In 2008, the global economic crisis flared up, which put many insurers in a difficult financial situation, which allowed MetLife to restore expansion on the market and buy out from American International Group (AIG) the large international company American Life Insurance Company (Alico). The operation was completed in 2010.
MetLife Ukraine has been confidently maintaining its leadership in the Ukrainian life insurance market over the past few years. The MetLife brand has a 153-year history that began in the United States, where the main office is located. In Ukraine, the company has already celebrated its 18th anniversary of work.
