SE "ANTONOV" was founded on May 31, 1946. The enterprise was headed by the outstanding aircraft designer Oleg Antonov. During this time, the ANTONOV team has developed over a hundred types and modifications of passenger, transport and special aircraft. More than 22,000 of these aircraft were built. ANTONOV aircraft set more than 500 world records. Today the company employs representatives of more than 200 professions and specialties, a full staff of designers and scientists working in 35 scientific areas, including such rare ones as aerodynamics and aviation amplification, mechanics, hydraulics, heat engineering, avionics, materials science.
