Integration of the CAO solution into the IT infrastructure of DP "NAEK "Energoatom"

About the Customer

The state enterprise "National Nuclear Power Generating Company "Energoatom" was established in October 1996. The company is the operator of four operating nuclear power plants in Ukraine, which operate 15 nuclear power units, of which 13 are of the VVER-1000 type and two are VVER–440, with a total installed capacity of 13,835 MW, 2 hydroelectric units of the Tashlyk HPP with an installed capacity of 302 MW and 2 hydroelectric units of the Alexandrovskaya HPP with an installed capacity of 11.5 MW.

Energoatom provides about 55% of Ukraine's electricity needs, in the autumn-winter periods this figure reaches 70%.

Ukraine ranks eighth in the world in terms of installed capacity of nuclear power plants. According to the results of 2018, Ukraine ranked third in the world in terms of the share of NPP electricity in the total volume of electricity production in the country.

Energoatom is a member of JSC NPP, WNA, EUR, INPRO, the Ukrainian Nuclear Society and the Association "Ukrainian Nuclear Forum".

Tasks

  1. To ensure the prevention of accidents in the operation of nuclear power plants
  2. To ensure the current level of safety of nuclear power plants in quantitative terms is not lower than achieved in the previous year.
  3. To ensure the exchange of positive experience on safety culture among NPP OP.
  4. Ensure that the established control levels (CL) of personnel radiation are not exceeded.
  5. To ensure the reduction of the negative impact of production activities on the environment.
  6. Prevention of accidents at work.
  7. To ensure control over the health status of employees in the State Enterprise "NAEK (Energoatom)"
  8. To ensure compliance of the ISU of the State Enterprise "NAEK (Energoatom)" with the requirements of international standards and world practice.
  9. Introduction of the use of eco-safe and energy-saving technologies

Solution

Infotel has implemented a CAO system – an emergency notification system for employees and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The project provides for the implementation of a CAO solution based on MobiCall

The project provides for the integration of the CAO solution into the IT infrastructure of the enterprise, and interaction with the PBX installed at the enterprise.  Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise stations are used as PBX.

The implementation of the project allows you to use the following system functionality:

  1. Emergency notification according to a pre-prepared scenario, or using TTS.;
  2. Notification to the employee's internal phone, mobile phone, landline landline, sending SMS, sending a message to the mail;
  3. Notification about listening or reading a message;
  4. Generating reports;
  5. The possibility of holding an operational conference for 30/60/90, etc. participants;
  6. Recording events
